“The role of social media in the development of startup in Senegal”
The Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Senegal and WÀTU Digital Lab, a leading consulting firm in strategic and operational communication for development, are pleased to invite you to the workshop with Mr. Juri Schnöller, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Cosmonauts Kings – the first German startup for data-driven political communication, public affairs, and campaigning.
Taking the opportunity of Mr. Schnöller’s presence in Senegal following his business trip to the Gambia, we are organizing this meeting in order to learn from his international experiences that can benefit Senegal dynamic entrepreneurship ecosystem. The event will take place on Sunday, July 1, 2018, from 2 pm to 5 pm at the headquarters of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Stele Mermoz Pyrotechnics Route in Dakar.
It’s a friendly afternoon gathering which will bring together 20 young entrepreneurs, civil society leaders, and communications professionals to discuss the importance of social media in creating an enabling digital business ecosystem for the development of socioeconomic organizations in Senegal.
The objective is to identify startups best practices, learn new social media for business technics, share case studies and experiences which can lead to the formulation of concrete recommendations to guide participants willing to effectively implement digital communication systems. This will contribute to strengthening their online presence and promoting their projects or businesses. In this regard, the issues and challenges raised by the use of social media will be addressed.
